Dont use caustic soda if your pipes are plastic it will melt them and will end up costing you a fortune0

I'm now armed with a knitting needle / mr muscle. Might look at the bicarbonate of soda idea mentioned on another thread. Think I'll leave the caustic soda idea alone, just in case I have plastic pipes! Ordered a hair catcher from Ebay.:T0 -
