Your contract didn't 'roll' - it stayed active until you cancel (giving 30 days notice). Have they offered you any incentive to stay yet? If not, keep things running until a week before.
If they don't call you, call them saying you might be prepared to stay on if the price is right - what can they offer you? If they don't, just ask them to cancel te cancellation!0 -
yeah they offered more data for my money i took it initially but rang back to cancel as i have my free WiFi minutes with bt so my contract will cancel on 24th june
can i simply ring back and say i no longer want to cancel and keep the deal they offered initially?
but im considering dumping bt as i barely use data as it is.. mainly the forums and fbSealed pot challenger # 10

You rejected their initial offer, so that will not be available automatically. Call them and say you've reconsidered and will accept - that might do the trick. If not, there is always PAYG available which I turn to when my fixed BB falls over.0

yeah i will give the cancellations team a ring in the morning and see what they say.. im sure they'd rather give me the offer again than loose a customer.

If you decide you'd still like it then buy another sim through topcashback - depending on product it's £25 - £34 right now. As you say you don't use all the allowance that's more use to you than extra allowance to waste.

the 15gb they offered instead of the 10gb is enough for what i do at the minute.
im on bt infinity at the mintute and barely use 15gb on that each month and thats downloading the odd film aswellSealed pot challenger # 10

In that case set up an account on topcashback and buy a 10GB monthly sim. It will take maybe a couple of months to get the payment. Don't forget to clear your cookies before making the purchase. I always use IE for that as I use chrome as my standard browser so deleting all the cookies is easy and doesn't cause me any inconvenience.
I have one of the 10GB monthly sims right now for use from my holiday caravan so I only need it 6 months a year and a monthly sim with over 2 months free from cashback is a good deal for me.
BTW don't bank on using free WiFi as most of the BTFon hotspots are home routers sited indoors so their range is poor. Some places you'll be OK but many you won't.0 -
they cancelled my cancellation and said i can keep the deal i was offered..
and as a "valued" customer i was offered ipads/iphones etc to which i said no..Sealed pot challenger # 10
