Found this photo - looks very similar to the thumbnail of universal one on your link and looks like it's a good fit on this EBT

It's a prong collar. Common in the US I beleive but yes can cause damage when not used properly and unfortunately I don't think many people do know how to use them properly. ( I certainly don't so would not use).0 -

didn't know that, I have to say that they have some really cruel practices in the USA, like declawing cats. Not an animal friendly country.0 -

Sad to say, prong or pinch collars are available in the UK too

Just come back to say that the Baskerville ultra, although not brilliant, is wearable for TM. Just in case any other bullie owners who need help see this at any point.
Getting it on her is no problem, however we are having massive doggy strops while out walking. I say walking, it's more of a commando crawl, whilst repeatedly bashing her nose on the floor and refusing point blank to get up. This does however have a positive aspect to it in that she's missed a couple of dogs sailing past while she's been tantrumming. :rotfl:All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
It works as a distraction technique. My dog is the same, he's so busy bashing me in the leg with his muzzle he doesn't notice the other dogs walking by. I'm glad things are getting a bit better.0

I can't add any advice but I think its sad when its seen by people that a dog with a muzzle is something to be worried by when its really a sign of responsibility.0

Really you need to introduce a muzzle slowly. Buying it and taking a dog straight out for a walk with it rarely works - usually ends up with behaviour like you're describing. The behaviourist Chirag Patel does a fab video on introducing a muzzle0

I agree. We went through a fear period with out 10 month old GSD where he was a bit fear aggressive of people. I muzzled him to avoid any injuries but people just basically ran away meaning it was very hard to work on the issue as to work on it I had to take him past people with treats so to make a positive connection. Got there in the end but very frustrating for a bit.0
