Yes my DH has this problem too. I name the pillowcases as I don't want his yuk under my head!! He sweats a lot though so that's probably what causes it.
I always washed my single and double duvets in the machine but since having a King size I throw it away after a couple of years and buy new. Did get it dry cleaned once but just smelt chemically and not clean.0 -
I must admit to being surprised that people are so concerned about sleeping on the correct pillow! Pillow cases are put on without any thought put into whose pillow is which here.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

To me, using someone else's pillow is akin to wearing someone else's dirty underwear. I just couldn't. Although I'm happy to sleep in hotels!
I'm the same with towels. We all take a bathtowel at the beginning of the week and we all have our places to hang them to dry. If the towels get mixed up (and they used to frequently as my hubby kept taking them off the clothes horse and piling them up until I told him to 'stop doing that!') they would all go back in the washing.0 -

We like different types of pillows, that's the only reaon I bother.0 -
We have a 7kg drum, easil fits in a single duvet and pillows.
I paid an extra £100 for the next size up.
I know, in our old house it was so cold the windows would frost over the inside of the windows. Also we hate being cold, in the summer we just use duvets.
Have to admit I like having my pillow, oh tries to steal it so I rip out from under him. The bottom of the duvet cover has to be feet end, its irritates me when its at the top.0 -
About once a year.I air them every few months and like to fold the duvet over the bottom of the bed all day and have the window open as much as possible.0

I hate the thought of putting my face on a pillow that some stranger has been breathing on so when we go away I always take our pillows with us.
I did used to wash the single bed duvets but now they all have doubles and superking they just get replaced frequently as duvets are so cheap now.0 -

Each to their own but it isn't something I'd even thought of.
As for towels, we both use the same towels which hang on the back of the bathroom door.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I bought a Victorian carpet beater to whack the rugs and duvets etc but it was so pretty it's on the wall and now on a nice day I hang the duvet over the line and beat heck out of it with an old tennis bat. Fabulous for getting and dust etc out, a good workout AND if you are in a bad mood you can really get your frustrations out :j0
