What makes you say that? One of those is correct! Are they known for this? I'll answer the rest later.0 -

I doubt you have a leg to stand on,
did you book flights and hotels together as a package? you should be able to read t&c on your booking, somehow I think it will say your contract is with the hotel , we act as a third party supplier. If it was a package abta will be able to get involved but it all depends what your contract says, can you post it so we can have a lookneither act as operator, both are a third party supplier , i bet its on the beach
As I booked flights/accommodation together, are they not covered by Flightplus regs? Going to speak to Abta today, and am still awaiting a response regarding this from the agent.0 -

Thanks, I've got an 020 number so free from my mobile. My wife read the t's & c's and there was nothing specific covering this. Ironically it was very clear that if we tried to cancel on them after making the contract it would be a no go.0 -
.3 Where you book a Flight-Plus through us, it will be our responsibility to arrange a substitute flight or accommodation or car hire should the supplier of any of these fail financially with the result that they cannot be provided. If substitutes cannot be arranged it will be our responsibility to refund you all protected monies you have paid for the Flight-Plus as detailed on the ATOL certificate (see next paragraph
I have taken this from otb ,
but tr are the same, if its an error on the website both are covered0 -
Under the Law of Contract, if an offer is made and then accepted a binding contract exists. OP offered to purchase flight/accommodation which was then accepted and confirmation received. With the booking being made through a 3rd party probably muddys the water but surely either OTB or the accommodation provider must honour the agreed costs as per the contract?0

That's what I thought but as time goes by I'm hearing people backing what almond says. It stinks and I hope Abta can help (especially if they've had many complaints about the company). I'll report back.0 -
Sadly (for me), almond is correct. Abta can't/won't help as the third party isn't Abta registered. We only have recourse if any of the companies go bump. I guess now I can only hope OTB come good with their promise to try to find a replacement.0
