Don't worry Quackers, yesterday was my day off too and I worked pulling mens sale stock all day (and it's a big store so there's a lot!).

There are some boys sandals in the sale I believe, I know we had a big rack of them, confusing cos none of the girls ones have gone in yet. Hope that helps!

Quizzed a 'Team Leader' who asked if he could help and he was very evasive as to when the sale started - whats the secret? Is there a special handshake or wink etc etc. Why cant everyone be like Quackers.

Still nothing at Fort Birmingham at 645pm this evening - are they working the nightshift!!!!

laughing-smiley-014.gifSome staff are sooooo secretive its hilarious. You have to laugh.

Regular customers know roughly when the sale starts so telling them does no harm. People who are waiting for the sale aren't going to buy full price so you may as well tell them & ensure they come on the day the sale starts so your takings are good :)

    Thats my theory anyway :)
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

    thanks so much Quackers.

Just managed to make it to clarks today....tried yesterday after school only to find my local branch was being refurbished!

My boys are very happy with a new pair of shoes each (noisy and dixon) and I saved £20!!

    Thanks again

    biggrin.gif no probs.

I really like the shoes called Dixon - they're really cute aren't they. I'm suprised they went into the sale to be honest - I'm glad they did though 'cos now you got a bargain :)

I had everyone going to Clarks today for my little boy (mum, hubby and finally me who had to go to work first) - he is now the proud owner of 3 pairs of trainers - 2 of which will go back. Perhaps I could get a job rotating stock!!!!:rotfl:

The Team Leader at the Fort must think I have a Clarks fetish (either that or I have a crush on him) - was in there twice yesterday and once today. They were only just putting the kids shoes out at 1230 today but would assume they are all out by now.

Thanks Quackers - you have saved me money once more it is really appreciated.
  • thank you sooooo much quackers, you've really made my day. i managed to get to the New street Birmingham store at 9.30 this morning and get my little ones a pair of shoes each!! Nooo! I can't get to a Clarks shop until Friday at the earliest!

Quackers, do you know if any of the Josie shoes are in the sale?

    thanks.

No - they are not on the list. Sorry :)

They're privo shoes aren't they? are they the ones that are done in black or white? They have been really popular so not likely. Although there is always the chance that they will go in at a later stage. The white is likely to go in but they may keep the black as an autumn/winter 2007 shoes

    :)

You should have no probs getting a refund as long as you have the receipt. You have 28 days to return them as long as they are unworn with receipt.

ALso - even if they were in the sale you could get a refund :)
