Do you know if any of the girls shoes in the sale are "E" fittings? I am really struggling (again) to get any summer shoes to fit my daughter. She is having to wear her black school shoes to school and is wearing trainers or flip-flops at home as we can't get anything else to fit!!
Thanks0 -

In the smaller girls range there is a girls shoe called Fusspot that is made in white leather - there are lots of those still in the 'e' fitting and I'm sure they are going into the sale - down to £12. There's also a style called Lady Penelope in pastel pink that is going down to £12 and thats made in an 'e' fitting. If you are looking at bigger sizes (maybe above a 9ish) then the choice isn't as good. Also, because its coming towards the end of the season (honest!) then there are not as many 'e' fittings left so even of they were going into the sale then there may not be many left in the stores to be reduced! Hope all of that makes sense.
Not in the sale - but what about sandals? All of the Clarks sandals are adjustable across the width so ALL are suitable for an 'e' fitting foot. Doodle sandals are a nice cheaper option too - only £14.
If any of that is confusing (I'm good at confusing people) then just shout at me and I'll try again
ooo, just thought of something else - there's a girls shoe called scrummy that is made up to about a 12.5. This style may be worth trying in an 'f' fitting as my personal opinion is that it is a fairly narrow style so may be ok in a wider fit. Opinions will vary though but I reckon it fits really snug across the top and often have to fit it a width wider than what I've originally measured.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
I've always wondered why Clarkes mens shoes are G and H width fittings instead of the E/EE/EEEE that I see elsewhere.
Every company seems to have their own fittings. Clarks use a G for a standard mens width and a H fitting is extra wide. Each style only comes in one width fitting though.
Ladies shoes are a D for standard fit and an E for wide fit. Occasionally they make a more traditional ladies shoe in an EE fit for very wide feet.
They used to make more width fittings than this but I think reduced it because demand wasn't so high and the cost implication.
Personally I think people get too hung up on what width fitting & size they need. Every shoe fits differently - even in the same shop & it really is a case of trying them on to see what is the most comfortable.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
No ladies sale prices yet - I'll update when I've seen them.
I've got them :j
Lots of sandals from last year going to half price.
Lots of £10 & £15 reductions.
Shoes & sandals from this year that have been previously reduced in a promotion are going to half price.
HTH - any specific questions then I'll try & answer themSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -

Thanks Quakers:)
My daughter is a 12.5 E. I am finding it increasingly hard to get shoes and sandals to fit her as she goes up the sizes. We tried some of the F width sandals but even with the velcro pulled tight they were still too big! None of the ordinary doodles fit either! I feel really sorry for dd bless her.0 -

I know this is about Clarks sale shoes but for very narrow feet try Startrite shoes, they can be expensive but they are beautifully made and very good with difficult to fit feet.0 -

There will not be any boys bootleg shoes in the sale. They wont do that at this time of year as it would lose them business for AugustIf stores have some old stock from last years sale they might have a few pairs but its not very likely I'm afraid.
There are some boys bootleg trainers going into the sale - some traditional lace ups called Chosen & the ones that look like football shoes called Sheer Grip. Theres one other style called Terra Grip but I've not seen that before so dont know what its like.
Hope that helps a little.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0
