    Good afternoon everyone

Well the council are soon going to be forcing our stair into getting a door entry system. It is not confirmed yet but they always get their own way. I realise that it will make the stair more secure but I am happy with the way things are. I get medical supplies delivered and as I stay at the top the delivery drivers can leave them outside my front door and I get them when I get home (don't worry, no drugs!) Sometimes the odd letter arrives for my ex and it means I can leave it under the doormat for him instead of having to see him. The worst thing about it for me is that I am a home owner so that means I will have to pay for it. They have said it will cost £1000-£1500! Who has that kind of money lying around?

So, in very much begrudged preparation, I am going to be putting money aside each month to save towards it. I can spare (at a push) £40 per month out of my budget (this may change month to month, starting with this month) so I will begin with £32.46 please Maz :)
    Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
    Mortgage today = £161,690.76
