  • Good morning everyone :)

PAD of £98 today between Lloyds (or whatever they are calling themselves this week) and endowment shortfall fund please Mandz :T

I wasn't having a dig about the total, I missed a few when I was adding up and had to go back and re-do them :o

Have a super day everyone :D

Finally some of the money I was waiting for arrived but as cheques so have had to wait for them to clear as no funds to pay before then. However just paid £77.90 to the cc plse, mandz.

By the way, where is everyone these days? It's pretty deserted on here lately.:(

I was thinking that too, it's pretty sad that we were so busy a while ago and everyone seems to have disappeared :(

If you are lurking, please come back and PAD, even if it's just pennies, it all adds up and makes an amazing different :j

I think everyone is doing Xmas shopping and that's why it's quiet.
Hope everyone is doing ok even if they aren't making a payment every day. Come back and say hello.

    :hello:

I haven't made any more daily payments... sorry :o

I have spent the last few days taking stock of absolutely everything... I am now armed with spreadsheets, snowball plans and also the absolute horror that I have £15k of unsecured debt and nothing to show for it (well, apart from my car, but that's only accounting for approx. £5k )

Anyway, back to the point. I also noticed that I am fine PADding away at the beginning of the month, but come the end of the month I am reluctant to part with any cash... Even a few pounds!

Im thinking (with my snowballs in mind) that I will just make my daily overpayments 'monthly' as soon as I get paid. And then I have no excuse not to make them and stick to my budget the rest of the month...

Does anyone else do this... or am I kinda defeating the point of PADding?

    Ty

I might PM you this reply as have been unwell so not been on for a while...

I did exactly this to get debt free (near enough)...I get my welfare check every 2 weeks. I would snowball, spreadsheet what I was paying on debt and all other household things (housekeeping; utilities etc) - going over on things that aren't fixed from month to month (eg.phone) then PAD when I got my welfare check...

You are doing things just fine and there's is nothing wrong with what you are doing. We are not here to judge, just suggest and encourage,

So come back when you can and enjoy padding :T
