Massive public housing schemes were a huge success in the post-war crisis years, and we could now have a chance to re-generate a similar feeling of optimism.

The last thing that we need is to turn the country into bedsit-land.

      We need decent homes that
      • Real people want to live in.
      • Provide the security to support family life (whether owned or rented).
      • At a price which will not ruin the UK economy by requiring uncompetetive wage rates.
