So how long before they downgrade the benefits and what alternatives are they now offering in the UK other than BuyandFly and Goldfish? Seems a bit counter productive given their recent push on the 3% Platinum card offer - draw in all these new customers, then stop the availability of the cards.0

Martin mentioned something about this on another Morgan Stanley thread. All a big rebranding exercise. Just makes me wonder what they are going to do to existing MS card holders. They have obviously just introduced the £20 annual fee to get rid of as many of those as possible. What happens to everyone else - will they continue to get cashback or will that be the next thing to disappear I wonder0

The person I spoke to at MS yesterday night had no problems with me wanting to cancel - didn't even ask why, so it's very obvious that they want to get rid of as many as possible.0

I cancelled my Leeds BS Morgan Stanley card last week. I was never asked why nor was any attempt made to disuade me from closing.God save the King!
I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.0 -
Looks like I got in just in time then, after hesitating for a while. 3% cashback for 3 months was too tempting in the end.
If it stops being worthwhile then I'll dump it. Until then I'll take advantage.0 -

Well I have just phoned MS and they stated that there are no plans to remove the cashback bonus from current customers. Good I suppose, but doesn't stop them making new plans in the future I guess...0 -
Well, I don't know if this is any indication, but on my Experian Report, "Morgan Stanley Bank International Limited" has changed to "Goldfish Bank Limited"... Hmmm43580

I just called their customer service as I am not happy with their statement date change which resulted in almost paying 2 months balance in one month. I told them I want to cancel it and without any questions asked they cancelled the account.
Now looking for another one. Could anyone suggest any good cashback cards ?0 -

Hmmmm.....
Current state of their rebranding makes the respective website confusing:
The MS Buy and fly card is issued by Cards "Goldfish Bank Limited" per MS website, yet the Goldfish Card itself is copyright "Morgan Stanley Card Services Limited " per their website!0
