I've had a few mobile apps for a while. The way I look at it. The phone companies are already doing this and using the information for research. Obviously, other companies want this info as well and are prepared to pay.

I cannot say I've ever had a problem. And although I don't like being 'spied on' it happens constantly by the big comapnies and government regardless of your wishes so I might as well make a few pennies letting them have the info they want.

I think it's a bit marmit, you either don't care or hate the idea.

For anyone interested, Maximiles now have a search toolbar (not sure when this started), 100 points awarded for toolbar download and first search then 1 point per 2 valid searches with points awarded weekly. Compatible with Firefox and Internet Explorer.

I got an email about this video today, but I had already watched it. That's new maximiles sending emails informing you of videos to watch, but very useful if you've missed any.
