Read this - and so checked mine out - all working fine here - so maybe it's an intermittent fault, or it's fixed already

It worked fine for my but my internet banking was temporarily down for all of 2 minutes. Hardly a big deal and not worth all the fuss.
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

Unable to access mine. Says it requires an internet connection and I'm looking at 3 lines on my wi-fi connection.

I'm the kind of person that will look at my phone if I've got 30 seconds free while waiting for my laptop to boot up, but even I don't think it's remotely newsworthy that an app has gone down for about an hour!

Looks to me like a trivial excuse for MSE to promote their 'Best Bank Accounts' guide to try and get some commission from people switching...

I've been experiencing problems since 9am and still cant access the ipad app althougn i can access my account on the PC similar to rigsby its telling me I need to be connected to the Internet when I already am. While perhaps it's not as widespread as previous errors with natwest at least I know it's not just me.

Edit and its still not working and before people ask yes I've rebooted the iPad.

My RBS app isn't working right now but my online banking is, so no problem. Does anyone have the app who doesn't have the more useful online banking?
NatWest's mobile app has gone down again, leaving customers unable to access their accounts.

This seems sensationalist to me - we've not had mobile banking that long, surely we can't be totally dependant on it already?!

I wouldn't go as far as MSE are being sensationalist they are giving people information and natwest saying its been fixed well obviously it hasn't.

The fact the app is down is a fact worth reporting, and indeed that it remains down despite them saying it has been fixed. However the idea that people are without access to their accounts is almost untrue, and IMO the idea that people should switch account solely because an app is down for one day is quite an odd one.
Of course, it is proper that MSE provides information about how to switch fr those who want to for whatever reason and credit is due to them for valuable information in their guides. My point was they tend to get a little excited....

Edit: App is working now so all is well

i take your point so many ways to access your account nowadays but app access to your bank account is going to be more important as time goes on. people want the ability to move funds pay bills etc at any point in the day not only when we have access to a computer.

My RBS app has worked fine all day, and I've accessed it a few times both on wifi and 3G.
