I have Bailey and Cassie arriving tomorrow, so I'm hoping between them they'll chase this damned BD away; I seem to be really struggling of late - I'm on the highest dose of anti-d already, so there's nothing further the Doctor can do to help, I just have to deal with it somehow.

I hope Bailey and Cassie bring you a little piece of Eden this weekend.

Halight, that's great that you have a date at last

Well, that was an odd sort of day - I went to work in the winter, and came home in the summer. Nice to get some decent weather at last.

I've been at work today so I'm feeling a bit spaced out, and a bit grumpy too. One of my colleagues never asks I can do something to help, she just assumes, and when I'm away from my desk, keeps piling things on there, or even worse on my chair.

I'll post tomorrow, when I'm feeling in a better mood!

Hi chums well we took a chance on the weather and what a lovely day it turned out to be.I sat in the sun by the cafe on Westgate beach and it was gorgeous.DD and two of the boys went 'crabbing' as the tide was out and had a lovely messy time (she is off this week so it was nice for her to be with the boys and their nets) We had our picnic and then DD treated us all to a lovely cornet from the shop made with clotted cream ice cream.very yummy :)
The boys played football when the tide came up and we came home around five with red faces and sun-touched noses :):)
Mikey is getting very excited about tomorrow and I had to promise that I would be round first thing in the morning to see him open his presents.
Being the youngest of the four boys this year means that her other lads prefer cash to buy what they want but Mikey is still keen on unwrapping stuff.a couple more years and he too will be too grown up for toys so we are making the most of him:):)
At least all of my washing got dried today so I may do some in the morning before I go to their house as once there he won't want me to come back home until he goes to bed:):)
I'm also going to make him a chocolate cake for tomorrow and decorate it for him.
Right I'm now off to put my feet up and relax for a bit I managed to get the two other Tom Rob Smith books from the library so I will be probably starting on them when I go to bed I read his Child 44 and found it really good.
Cheers everyone hopefully we will have a nice sunny weekend for a change

    Halight :j:j:j such good news.

Well, I have a stinking cold. My face is all swollen and puffy. I'll soldier on though. I am one of those people who look really awful with a cold but don't feel too bad fortunately.

I've been food shopping today, Costco and tesco. I've not got any meat though so I will go to the farm shop tomorrow.

DS1 went to school for some half term revision sessions, then onto the cinema today. DS2 went out for cake with my mum then back to her house to help grandpa in the garden (he played with the hose and watering can).

I'm crocheting my blanket this evening but I'm getting so bored with it. It maybe the smallest blanket on earth.

JackieO, I've just ordered Child44 for my kindle.
It's been lovely here today, my DDs have been here with kids & dogs, we all just relaxed in the garden.
My DD's are having a baby race, to see who can get pregnant first, so more DGC soon hopefully, I best keep on with the crochet.
Last week we had DD2's b'day party, it was a week late as my ex insisted on a visit on her actual b'day. At the party DD1 & I organised, one of their friends asked why they always saw their Dad on their b'day & why I always saw them the week after, they looked at each other & then said 'Cos mum always tries to make things easy for us & doesn't make a fuss'. So they are coming to me on DD1's b'day, it's all arranged, well until the ex kicks off, we'll see what happens.
    Have a good evening everyone
    Hugs Hester

    Evening everyone

Halight - great news about your app, fingers crossed that the beds are ready for you
HH - hope your ex can keep quiet for once and that your DD gets to see you on her day
LW - I'm convinced that this awful grey weather has a lot to do with BD's visiting, hopefully todays sun will have brought some cheer your way x

Today I took kiddies and Mum to a local ish country park - lots of walking, picnic and Heron spotting - there's a Heron Watch there - lots of nesting Herons with chicks and you can see them through a telescope or on a screen they have set up - the telescope thingy was amazing - saw 3 chicks up close - thought I could just reach out and touch them, they were so fluffy and ugly cute :]

My car is on its last legs and Mums next door neighbours are selling their car so we are going to have a look at it this weekend and hopefully going to buy it, my brother was a mechanic so he'll have a look at it too for us as this car i have now has been a money pit since day 1 and we can't afford another like that.

Tomorrow after car looking will be spent at the Lottie, trying to reclaim some of the weeded area back as ours - weeds have taken hold big time

Hugs, sticks, spoons, cake and a little drink of something you fancy are all in the corner - help yourselves, after all its gonna be a nice weekend :]

    Helen x

Not as nice to-day as the last few days, but no rain or wind so not too bad, OH even went out to plant some onion, lettuce and chard seeds. Watched gardeners' world to-night and was interested to see the different ways they were planting out tomatoes.

Halight...lots of luck with bed and op, will be watching Facebook eagerly to see how you are doing and sending positive vibes for a speedy recovery.

Hugs to all in need or want, stay safe and well.
