Halight, so pleased you have a date, will be thinking of you.

Sunny here this morning after three days of steady rain. Dd's bf passed his driving test yesterday at third attempt so that cheered up a grey day.

Weather set fair for the weekend so masses to get washed and dried while I have the chance.

Hope everyone has a good day and a nice weekend.
  • Good morning everyone :)

Sunny here so washing is out and garden jobs have already commenced.

Halight - am so glad you have your date sorted out at last.
I know that waiting feeling very well and am always anticipating a call at the last minute. Last time I went in, I got a call the day before to say there was no bed for me, then another 30 minutes later to say they had looked at my notes again and they were no longer allowed to cancel skin cancer surgeries so I was back on the list! I hope the only call you get is to say everything is ok to go.

Molly - I hope your appointment comes soon.

Julie - hope all goes well at pre-op today.

Hester - I too am already dreading the return to work on Monday.

Back to garden jobs and some outdoor photos for ebay.

Well wishes for all sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Keep well and safe and have a super day :)

    Morning all,

Bright and beautiful day here, wm is doing its thing, will get it on the line today, 2 loads to do.

DD slept over at her friends last night, so waiting for a call from her to see what she is doing for the day. Might go and meet her in town, not that I have any money but I can look :D

Halight I am so glad you have a date :j, I hope nothing gets cancelled last moment, I shall keep an eye on your FB too xx

Need to have a quick tidy round this morning, then jump in the shower, and either go and meet my dd or go and see my dad.

Chilli and rice for dinner, will make a good hot one :D.

    Have good days all xx

Thinking of Jools and Topsy xx

Julie - pre op is a breeze, but ask questions if you aren't happy about anything, or you want anything clarified.
Halight - so pleased you are getting sorted at last.

Just received cheque for the flooding repairs to our apartment from the insurance company (£2,500) so will now be able to proceed with the redecoration of our other bedroom.

Off to the bank to deposit it now. Have a nice day everyone. Cloudy here today withe possibility of showers later.

    Morning Halight and all,

So pleased that you have a date for your op Halight. About time too.

All is well with me, daily chores almost completed then i'm debating whether to take the Girls out for a walk. Lucy dog really suffers in warm weather down to her thick coat.

Driving lessons. I paid £19 an hour for mine in 2000. I went with an independant driving instructor. My neighbours girlfriend is having driving lessons at the moment. My neighbour says its cost her £6000 up to now. 10 out of 10 for determination i say but why was a County Court Baliff knocking on my door the other day asking about her whereabouts? Pay your bills woman before you waste any more money on driving lessons i say!

Julie i hope all goes well at your pre op.

Hope you all have a lovely day, and dont forget the suncream if necessary.

  • hi everyone,,,,its Friday:j l love Fridays lol

oh dear as much as l love Fridays, l need to get my act together as not done much housework all week so my pamper Friday will have to wait.lm trying to motivate myself to get more organized and sort clutter out from my home. l decided to start on my bedroom and work around each room over the nk month. l only have a small built in wardrobe and lm trying to plan how to maximine the space , it needs to holdeveryhing from clothes/shoes to less used items as lv just left things to pile up everywhere. So spending this morning looking on youtube for organzing ideas.

one thing l would like to ask everyone on here..how do you organize your coupons? like many on her l collect loads of coupons but l cant find a good system that saves time when l need to use them, lm just getting them all stuffed in an envelope and then have to go through every one to check if out of date or if they match an offer,
plus how do you all file the printable ones..do you print them all off in one go or keep going back to mse printable list daily..l keep missing out on some great deals as l forget to check or it takes to long to read the mse printable thread.

so apart from perhaps making for o/s recyle storage bins today, there is not much old style going on for me.Tea is going to be nice...lm doing grilled rump streak(was on offer) with a salad, and passion fruit & organge panna cotta, which lv not tried before, from a meal deal offer.

sun is shinning so hope you all have a fab day x

    Morning all - TGIF!

HALIGHT - so pleased you've finally got your appointment :D

JackieO - Your Mikey is a day younger than my nephew - he's nine today! Having a little party tomorrow so will be seeing him then.

It's actually turning out to be a sunny day here, didn't think it would this morning. Got our online shop coming this evening (had a £15 voucher from Sainsburys to tempt us back so worth using). Ordered BBQ bits on OH's instructions - not sure whether he means for tomorrow or Sunday yet as we've no idea what the kids are doing - they didn't sound too keen on coming over this weekend as it sounds like it may be sleepovers and seeing mates :)

OS must get washing sorted when i get home and do a quick clean up so won't have to do too much over the weekend. OH has nearly got the garden sorted, it's looking lovely! Also must make sausage rolls and flapjacks for our pack ups.

Hugs to all who need them :)

    Hi all

I've risked putting the washing out, as the sun is making an effort to shine; that's the most exciting part of my day today!:D

Halight I'm so pleased you have a date:T – let's hope no emergencies crop up, and it all goes to plan. I'm not on Facebook, so would be pleased if someone who is would pass on any news – ah, I see Betheebee is going to do this. Best of luck mate, I shall be keeping everything crossed for you.

Julie good luck to you, too; that'll be a good job jobbed, once it's done.

Molly I hope it'll be your turn soon.

I have Bailey and Cassie arriving tomorrow, so I'm hoping between them they'll chase this damned BD away; I seem to be really struggling of late - I'm on the highest dose of anti-d already, so there's nothing further the Doctor can do to help, I just have to deal with it somehow.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
