Virgin phone - any other broadband options?

Options
My daughter has just moved into a rented flat and there is only a Virgin phone line there. She can't go with their broadband because they have to do some drilling to get it to her apparently and the landlord won't allow it. Are there any other bb services that accept Virgin lines? If there are, she'd also prefer not to be locked into an annual contract because her lease is only 6 months to begin with.
Thanks for any advice.
Lynne

Even with the Virgin Media phone only she will be required to take out a 12 month contract.

If she does not take out a chargeable VM call package, and just has the inclusive weekend calls. It would be worth her while using 18185 via their Freephone Access Number for cheaper geographical peak and evening calls ,and mobile and ngn calls.

    See: http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php for details.
