TalkTalk announced recording sky channels

Options
Hi,

Its been announced by talktalk that in the coming months customers who have youview service from talktalk will be able to record sky channels boosts.

This is brilliant news as I don't have the time to watch sky channels most of the time so it will be brilliant recording sky movies :)

For more information on this, the source is in the main talktalk forums. :D

Indeed, perhaps OP would do better with Now TV, assuming all their viewing is via YouView.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • im so annoyed i didnt know this when i paid for a sky booster on talk talks youview..... paid my tenner then realised i couldnt record or on demand any of the channels, this is a con! i have rang them today to be told i couldnt get a refund and i have put in a complaint, if i had know i couldn record i wouldnt have asked for the service so i feel they have mislead me into buying something i cant use, so annoyed i could spit

Well why on earth didn't you look into this before purchasing then? And how were you mislead? Did they tell you you would able to record?

It clearly states this on the TalkTalk Boosts website. In big bold letters. So its not like they've tried to hide the fact.

    Hi,

What do you mean? I haven't got sky digital, I have sky boosts with talktalk for my tv package.
