£150 agents credit check

What i cant understand is when agents tell landlords their fee's they say that all credit checks etc are included in that price. So basically they get 2 lots of money for one thing!!!!
Unbelievable0 -
hi was wondering if anyone, while trying to rent a house found that they would be charged 150 quid for credit check fees? i've never had 2 pay this before. Is there anyway to get around it?any help would be great as i dont want to waste money on nothing.
I would change agents! If you go to your local council, they can give you a list of all reputable landlords whos rents are fair and are approved by the council, so you shouldnt get messed around.
Good Luck.
