Well done Fairy!! I wouldnt have had the courage. I have an addictive nature so have to steer clear of gambling sites, lol.

Anyway, to add i have £12 refund from M&S and £16.50 from eBay. So thats £28.50 to add to my total.

Welcome to all the newbies, hello to the lurkers and good to see all the regulars! :D

Anyone clued up on Royal Mail? I paid for something Special Delivery. It was supposed to reach the people by 1pm today. Any idea where i stand with that? I'm really annoyed about it to be honest because i could have got a courier for £15 but because i needed it to get there quickly i paid £40 (it was a 19kg box with £500 compensation cover). Very disheartened about it to be honest.

Nothing to add yet as I've still got last month's money sitting in my e-savings account before I transfer it. Got paid today so haven't had a chance to pay off credit card/petrol/etc. But:

I put £300 aside each pay day for petrol and only spent £250 last month. Should only be £200 this month too, yay.

Drove past two yard sales on Saturday and got some £2 Lego and some hama beads - should fetch me a nice profit. Got chatting to one of the sellers and decided to do a yard sale this Saturday!

Got a call from ACAS - my previous employer are asking what my settlement figure would be. I more than halved what I'm looking for through the tribunal, so fingers crossed they come back with something sensible. I have a figure in mind that I'd be willing to accept.

Counted up £26 of loose change before running out of bags - boyfriend going to deposit it at the bank and get more bags.

And a few £££ sat in Paypal that I don't want to transfer yet until my 'online money' e-saver is empty.

I'm going to do some bingo for cashback - I think I'll spend £20 and see what cashback I get.

Check your receipt as assuming you sent it Saturday you might have missed the collection time for guaranteed Monday delivery. Also make sure it is within the 24 hour guaranteed areas, outlying areas are not covered.

Also, it might not update immediately online even if it has been delivered.
