thanks aesop - appreciate the welcome - been on things on initial site almost all day. got up too late for car boot. you've written paypal and a sum of money on the signature of your message - i understand cos use paypal for e bay but ...
blown it with train did think of it before - taking cleaning stuff down and picking up jetwash on way and sold something on ebay telling them i would be there so they are picking up from there. (prep deceased dads house to sell)
sorryto hear about your Dad.
I just thought if it was cheaper by train, redspottedhanky often give out free voucher codes which you could save up and use towards train travel but can understand now why it won't help you.
my signature... ok....
pinecone - is a survey company that pay in paypal or luncheon vouchers. I choose to take the luncheon vouchers as can use them towards my food bills to help save money.
paypal earnt - is a mixture of ebay, apptrailers, on device (a mobile phone app that pays monthly by paypal) and anything else that I earn by paypal.
roadkill is money found anywhere unclaimed, ie in the street, pennies, pounds, etc. or on the bus, or in supermarkets, on the floor, etc.
and money earnt is how much money I have earnt since Jan 1, I add the total from the previous month, so I have a running total.0 -
second post updated with all new challengers.
good luck with the challenge this month everybody, new and old
here are some mini challenges to get you started:
anyone with old phones at home... not using them as spares or back ups? take them to CEX (computer exchange, link on first post) or cashconverters, or look at mobile valuer (link on first post)
cash in and get the money in your pocket! I am guilty of this, have 2 phones I need rid off.
ebay - some people on this thread and other ebay threads, successfully do one day auction sales, and then anything that doesn't sell, gets listed on the sunday and listed for 5-7 days. this way you get 2 chances at free listing weekends!
all those old clothes you have at home... having trouble selling them? bundle them up and offer them on ebay as collection only or facebook as one price for the bundle or gumtree. Just think the money you will get you could buy some nice new stuff
have a look around your house, are there things you really don't use/haven't used for over 6 months or more/ do you really need/want them? sell them!
if you don't already do some surveys, join a few of the survey companies. you will be surprised at how saving up the vouchers you can earn or cash mounts up, and how you can use it towards holidays/treats/necessities/presents, etc.0 -
So my ebaying was successful! Few bits sold, approx total £20 very happy as it was either spares or repairs to save us taking to tip or free baby bits! Will calculate profit properly once all paid & posted but its given me a boost for the start of the month... and to get rid of more junk (treasures!!)
And massive well done Fairy!
