when your Magic Number is abroad?

Done a search but can't find anything specific

If your Magic Number is abroad does the free 1 hour call still work and/or would the Magic Number need to pay to receive the call.

I'm guessing the first part - maybe or fairly likely

but it seems certain to me that the phone abroad would still incur roaming charges

Same as with any roaming call. If you're calling a UK number then you pay the standard rate wherever that phone is in the World (so if it's a magic number you pay the flat 15p). If the phone is outside of the UK the owner of that phone pays per minute to receive the incoming call. The person making the call is never charged extra.
