Were they really bad Boss pants? Bad cut, bad colour, poor fabric?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I've posted a couple of lighthearted comments but actually, the OP's post has really annoyed me. For anyone who didn't read it, the title said something like 'Peter Andre going too far...' and the opening post said 'Was quite disgusted to see his son posing in Boss pants on his reality TV show. Do these people not think of the dangers..'
Those 'dangers' obviously being that some 'paedo' is going to think that Peter Andre's little boy is fair game or something equally unsavoury. People judge others by their own standards. Personally I think a boy in pants is just that - a boy in pants. If you want to read more into it OP, then crack on, but to me that's just silly, paranoid nonsense.
Looks like you've come to your senses anyway because you've deleted it now. Next time, try the Daily Mail not MSE."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

The problem isnt people showing their kids in that fashion, the problem is that some people are twisted and see innocent children as fair game.
I agree that parents should monitor their childs facebook to ensure they arent putting compromising info on it (there was a case of a !!!!! looking at facebook seeing where kids lived, what hobbies they had etc then - for instance - turning up to the local football park to try and meet them), but I also think its possible to go overboard.
Educating your child/children can do far more to protect them from harm than nannying them. Children are a whole lot smarter than some people give them credit for. You obviously dont give them the gory details, but nothing wrong with educating them about "bad men/women" and what to do/not to do. A boy from along the road wanted me to walk him over to the park as I was going over with the dogs. I told him to ask his mum. He said it'll be ok. I explained if his mum came out and didnt see him, she would be worried as she wouldn't know where he is. He then said yeah, I better tell her or she would worry. He's only about 5/6.
You could take your child on holiday to the beach or be at a swimming pool and be surrounded by !!!!!s. Are we just to keep them locked in the house forever until they're adults?
I suppose I shouldnt post any pictures of myself in my summer dresses in case a rapist sees it and decides i'm fair game too.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Realistically, what dangers do you think the family and producers are overlooking?
This is the point.
Both of my DD's do some modelling/video work, whether it's for my own company, or whether it's for someone else, and I don't see a danger as far as it goes.
I run music projects for young musicians. Is there a danger that you'll get the occasional bad person slip through the net? Probably
At the same time, though, I've made enough (adult) friends in this over the years to know that in the 10 years I've been doing it, at least, if anything/anyone a little untrustworthy is to pop up, we have horrible habits of letting the kids know in 2-3 hours, with the 15 (I think) languages that our alliance deals with on a daily basis.
Whilst I didn't watch the programme, and don't really care much what's on it, I was involved in a music contest a few weeks ago, which was watched by more than 170 million, in more than 80 countries. Yes, shock horror, we had kids opening it, who are some of the most talented 11-16s in Sweden .
We also promote a specific kids version of the competition since 2003, with an audience of 18 million. I think since I was in management in 2004, we've had one report of a dodgy-looking character cropping up, and this was dealt with by both our management team, and Facebook within 24 hours. I have a lot of the kids on Facebook/VKontakte, and like several others, keep a close eye on who's friending who, and what pictures are going up.
I'm all for competition from a young age, as it's something that due to political pressures, I never had, and like many other parents, I'd rather my kids showcased their skills instead of letting them go to waste.
