Just killed off lawn, do i need to remove it?

    It could have lots of roots that go deeper than the top 5cm. And taking away the turf is not easy.

    Thanks, yes had deep weeds and some bamboo shoots coming through so needed to kill it all off and start fresh.

    Regarding a new lawn, can anyone recommend a decent make of turf?

    My mum just bought a new house and the front and back lawns were done by different gardeners (paid by house builder on estate) and the front lawn is a lush dark green thick turf whilst the back is awful and looks like its going to die any minute. All turf has had the same watering, same sun etc.

    The people who laid the front are now off site so unable to ask where he got it from.

    Is this product ok to use with cats around ? Im thinking of using it on our gravel drive as lots of weeds coming through. Does it kill horse tail weed ?
