if your tap has the more conventional rubber washers as they heat up they can swell in turn reducing water flow.

    Really ???

    24, 28 or 33 kW?
Not sure how to find this out. There's no indication in the manual or on the unit itself.

Yep run on full power, if you dont get 10l+ then a combi is not suitable for the property, either that of you have a faulty stopcock or a blockage somwhere

Did you do this test yet? what were the results?

    Thats combi's for you...
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

I was gonna use my washing up bowl but it doesn't say what its capacity is! Anyway, I filled up my 1 L measuring jug in 6 seconds, so 10 L in a minute seems right.

most combi boilers require a flow rate of 4 lpm to even fire and start warming the water. If your tap has a problem and reduces the flow once turned on (probably the washer swelling) then it may make the boiler drop to min output or even shut down. So you need to run over a constant flow of 4lpm.

Also if your boilers set to max on the hot water it will shut down quicker on a low flow rate also as it will tend to overheat more.

its sounds like you need to change the way you use the tap/s in the property. If the tap splashes over the basin/sink to much you may need to consider a bigger basin or different tap.

Sounds like the combi in a cottage we rented last year. The boiler was new and only serving a kitchen and bathroom, but it was the cheapest model from a cheap manufacturer. The low kwh output meant only tepid water in the shower.

Despite being next to the sink kitchen tap water took ages to get warm.

As its a brand new boiler why aren't you having the installation checked under the warranty?
