Covering stuff in fridge

I've got a lovely new fridge after old one had been awful for years. I now manage to keep it tidy, re-use left-overs and have my meal planning under control. But I'm ending up with more (nice) leftovers for re-use. To cover them in fridge I sometimes use clingfilm, and sometimes silver foil, but both these seem expensive (esp the foil, but you can't use cling for everything). I just wondered what other people use ? We can't recycle foil round here so in the end it just gets thrown away which seems v wasteful.

I use tubbits, they can be bought from Wilkinsons and supermarkets near to the cling film/foil etc. They are like small butter / spread tubs which stack up.
You get about 5 for £2.000 -
Sometimes I use a plate on top of the bowl (if there isn't a worry about it drying out). Mostly use tubs.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

Apparently the best thing to use is plastic bin liners, you can use them for up to a week before throwing them away, at least that's what Tesco does in all their stores according to the manager in the documentary shown earlier this week and we all know how hot they are on quality and hygeine.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

Either lock it tubs or a plate on top of a bowl or a teatowel - depending on what it is.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Hi I use these from Lakeland here. They have lasted me for years, which reminds me I need a few more, they are good for kids sandwiches, too.0

I just use lidded pyrex bowls. I have them in all sizes, right down to half-an-onion size!
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
