My wife applied for a sim only data contract with Three about a week ago, there has been a confirmation email and a direct debit set up on her bank acc.
However she has still not recieved the sim card, could she have failed the credit check?
Cheers

It's unlikely she'd have failed the credit check if they've already set up a direct debit. Could just take a while to receive the SIM.What will your verse be?

What did they say when she called them to find out?0

Three told me they don't credit check sim only plans!!0

Then, chances are, the SIM card will arrive in due course.0

To be honest...I've never known anyone fail a mobile phone credit check anyway. Last December I got approved with 3 defaults, and having just been made redundant...0

All sorted now, turns out the SIM card was sent out but never arrived0

A colleague of mine has failed the Three credit check today. I'm with Three and suggested the network to him. He wanted an iPhone 5 but doesn't have any credit cards and lives in a rented property. I think his lack of credit history has caused him the problem - seems they like the devil they know than the devil they don't know!0

If you do fail a credit check for a Mobile phone then there's a very good chance you've got the most littered dirtiest high risk credit report going.0

I've got a poor credit history and I passed a Three Credit check when I applied for my phone on contract a couple of years ago.
I've been told it depends on whether you order online/store or over the phone. I was actually told by a Three CSA that the phone sales have a different criteria to the online check and you're better off applying online as they're more flexible?
I don't know if that's true or not! I would have thought it was all the same credit check system! I went into the shop and it went through fine. I then called the sales team on the phone a year later and ordered broadband and that went through ok aswell.
They're definitely the easiest mobile provider to get a contract with. Although I did check with their customer services about credit checks on upgrades the other day and was told they only credit check you if you're a new customer applying for a pay monthly or sim only contract - so they do still credit check you for sim only, as its still a monthly contract.
Their Customer Services hasnt improved much however, since I was with them years ago. Its the price i pay though for having poor credit, they were the only ones who I could get accepted by! So I cant really complain!0
