Motorola A835 and E1000 batteries and cables

Can anyone confirm wether or not the A835 battery can be used in the E1000 phone?

The good thing if you already have the A835 is that you can use the usb cable, and the charger in the E1000 phone. i just wanted to know if you could use the battery as well.
