Funny! Do you know I reckon that there's nowhere really that you can't get at least some sort of mobile reception now..'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

No, it ain't like that at all. We carry two phones on different networks and usually one of them will get a signal, specially out in the wilds or up near Wells-Next-The-Sea. Common problems in particular places. Even the car radio is weaker around that way.0

And that's exactly the way that the people there (including Norfolk dumplings like me) like it!'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

Full cover. They attend and either repair/ replace on the spot. Very, very good cover. My boss had a Panamera with the same cover and he used it a few times and they arrived very quickly..
They replace the damaged tyre with a new one at the side of the road? I'm impressed. I hadn't really thought this was feasible given the ranges of tyre sizes in use. What is the company that provides this cover?
Although to some extent this is a solution to a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place...0 -

Everything is through Audi. All I know is that we call the number on the back of the tax disc. The cover for the Panamera was about £30 or £35 a month I think.'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

Sorry but that just isn't the case, there are many areas of Norfolk and Suffolk with no signal whatsoever, on the 2 phones I carry, o2 and Vodaphone, it is improving though0 -

There are plenty of places all over the country where mobile reception is non-existent - the far West is full of particularly bad examples but there are places in Kent and Sussex where you can struggle.
Naturally, these dead spots occur in nicely isolated, deeply rural locations. Precisely where you wouldn't want to find out that your can of gunk was about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
As I live in an area where there are plenty of such places, I wouldn't be caught without a spare tyre.0 -

Well presumably they can ask what the make/model is before they set off so they've got an appropriate tire available. Or a van with a couple of each OEM tires for each combination supported by the company (if it's Audi specific it narrows it down somewhat).Although to some extent this is a solution to a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place...
Indeed. And even if the recovery vehicle had the tire and was only a couple of miles away, most people should be able to have changed the spare wheel and been away before they could reach you (I couldn't, it'd take me ages to move all the junk out of the boot to get to the spare :rotfl:) so it's incurring potentially huge inconvenience to save something like a tenner.0
