Count me in again this month please. I find it harder and harder to keep up with the reading the threads but it really does keep me on the straight and narrow and the next couple of months could be fairly trying...:-/

Please put me down for 15 NSD's this month. I haven't increased my target from last month but I at least met it so if I can do it for the next few months, I might consider increasing it...maybe!

Thank you to you all for keeping this thread afloat. I really value being part of it, even if I am a lurker rather than a contributor!

wildcherry - no you're not cheating, lurkers are more than welcome, and the odd contribution to the Cauldron of Doom makes you one of us. Totally bonkers.

Dragon - I wouldn't call it my Cauldron of Doom exactly, as Igor kindly donated it from his late grandmother's estate. She used to boil her Christmas puds in it, apparently. As well as the Igor family sock collection.

A few spendy items today, so not another NSD. However, it does mean, on my days off this week, I won't have to go schlepping to the shops but can potter around Chateau Nargle and its grounds instead. Just need the sunshine, now.

So yesterday was always intended to be a spendy day...but I did end up going over my planned budget in spectacular style :o I had friends over for dinner and drinks - and I decided that cocktails would be necessary so had to splash out on the ingredients.

We were very good though and only had 2 gin martinis each so lots left for the next time

Hoping today will be the first one that I wrestle to the ground - I'll be back later to confirm (I hope!) :)

    :hello:

    Hi all NSD'ers :)

Thanks for all the 'Welcome back's :)

Spoon- It is great to have no poison dwarf :D

Nargle...............What can I say, I have wandered in for a sit down and a cuppa and see Igor spread out on my chair and I won't even begin to say what it looks like he has done with my cup!!! :rotfl:

I am still at work and bought no money with me except my enveloped parking money and found a free space :D So I am declaring number 1 today as that will give me the extra push not to just pop to the shop on the way home :)

Hope everyone has been enjoying the sun today :)

My new rules for this month.

If I buy fruit or veg (fresh only, not tinned, dried or frozen), salad items, bread, DS's fresh milk or my soya yoghurt and start using it before my next spend day for items other than those, then it still counts as an NSD. This does mean I many end up having to count backwards, but will hopefully reduce the amount of food waste I've been having in recent months !!

    So......

yesterday was a spendy NSD as I wandered out for fruit, veg and salad items for the weekend. As it was a weekend my 1st of month D/Debits didn't go out. So that's NSD #1

Today was a true NSD, so I'm up to NSD #2

Tomorrow will be an NSD as my 1st of month D/Debits will be going out. So I'm off out shopping (with a 22 mile round trip walk to get there/back), but I'm hoping not to spend much as I won't be able to carry home what I'm window shopping for. (Want the chance to shop around, so being on foot will hopefully remove the temptation to buy on impulse!)
