Good morning folks from a so far dry NI:eek:,
No NSD for me today, as I have just been grocery shopping and have to get liquid gold later:mad:. I hope everyone is well and enjoying the start of the weekend:).If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
£2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!0 -
And here I am, using my colour for this month, 1 NSD in the Cauldron of Doom!
I do love it when the first of the month is on a Saturday - but am dreading the mass exodus of funds from my bank account Monday!
Should be collecting one or two more NSDs this next week to stop number 1 getting all lonesome.One life - your life - live it!0 -
I'm pleased to say that on the 1st of June I've caught NSD 1. We've been fishing and caught lots of fish too.

Spendy day today
had to get some petrol (running on fumes!).
Spent the afternoon on fleabay listings, so fingers crossed for some sales by this time next week.
Am going out for a meal with friends tonight. We're off to a Spanish tapas bar, haven't been before but it comes highly recommended; I'll be the only native English speaker there, so it might be a challenge to my language skills:) Hasta pronto, chicos;)'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

:hello::hello::hello:
Hello to all in the NSD thread..................I am crawling back after not being around for far too long
Since my job changed to a different project last year I have found I needed parking money and all sorts......still at least I don't have the poison dwarf any more, things are a bit crap though as because it's a two year contract the manager says I don't have continuous service.............which showed up in getting half a bonus at Christmas and no increment until June but I have been brave and had a word with the Union who have told me to write to the Board.still procrastinating on the letter though as really don't like confrontation but will do it this week.
I didn't think I could do NSDs any more because of the parking but I have been reading the tips again and trying to take cash out of the bank monthly and 'envelope' it which has been working a bit but I have found I do really need to be checking in here every day to not be spending that 'bit I have on me' and get back to being disciplined so here I am.....................
I think I need to start small as I'm not used to this anymore and I also have a trip to mum's and two days in London this month so can I put myself down for 10 please.:p
Today won't be I'm afraid as I have to meet some people after work as they are having a 'do' for someone's birthday but I will have a quick lime and soda and leave quickly.
Will be great to be back, have just been reading the thread and had forgotten how Nargle made me laugh on a daily basis when I was a regular, will be good to be back and see all you regulars and get to know some new peeps
Thanks to everyone running the thread and for it still being here......Here's to June

Welcome back to the asylum, Kathy - not much has changed since you last haunted this thread. Apart from the total redecoration job on Ennessdee Towers - looks really posh now, new curtains and everything, but don't worry, your usual chair is still here...somewhere.....
(Igor! Get your bony arris off Kathy's chair! And make sure you do something to get rid of those stains...I don't care if turnip whisky does burn a hole in the fabric, it is still the only thing guaranteed to remove all stains...particularly your midnight cooking session stains......Kathy is back and she will be wanting her chair!
And I hope you haven't removed her china mug from the kitchen cupboard....you used it for WHAT?????Oh my gawddddd.....)
Erm, anyone know where we can get a new china mug for Kathy? An identical one if possible, then hopefully she won't notice....One life - your life - live it!0
