    Unexpected NSD 9 today!

I need fuel, and a few bits of food but have been invited out for dinner tonight and I'm taking a pudding instead of buying wine :D So I decided to stay in and can make food last an extra day or so

I do have my son home for a week! Being a Royal Marine he has hollow legs  and costs a fortune to feed but he's very good and will most likely chip in with the food

Well it may be nearly midsummer but it blooming well don't feel like it! Temperature around 18 degrees but with a cool breeze, meaning the shorts went on this morning then got swapped for jeans after an hour.

(No, Igor, I doubt if we will be needing the pool cleaning out ready for the NSD midsummer bash. Unless a heatwave appears as if by magic. Watch the weather forecast....)

Avoided a trip to town today so that makes a super 7 Chateau Nargle NSDs for the collection....

(Yes, Igor, I suppose we could all wear wellies and have a welly wanging contest. And the Good Ole Boys could do their cabaret spot wearing mackintoshes and sou'westers, but they'll still freeze when they do the drag queen cabaret bit.....oh, you will provide them all with thermal vests? Very attractive indeed....)

    Well done everyone ,

The day started well, but i gave in to temptation this evening and bought a load of snacks and drinks a short time ago, so bang goes today's NSD . Close but no cigar.

    Better luck tomorrow :).

    Howdy all

Spendtastic day today but it is a win. I got 3 Fathers day gifts and cards for under £20. 3 happy daddy's :) one happy pocket. I pulled £14 out to put in an envelope for my mumsy who is coming next week & I owe it her for a gift. The shopping finally arrived & a good old complain on the phone about grams and broccoli stalks plus the no-show yesterday meant I got my delivery charge & a couple of items which were not as they should be, refunded. £9.56 back out of £41

Tomorrow DD & I will get our painting groove on for the grand-daddys for Monday & Tuesday respectively. Then I shall print photos for the half price photo frames I got & bobs your uncle. NSD tomorrow definitely!
