Geting ready for an all-night NSD hunting fest. Will report back tomorrow, hopefully with number 2 in the bag!
Well done on the giving up smoking, marmite - there are some pretty stupid ways of squandering money, and I have to say shoving a bunch of dead leaves in your mouth and setting fire to them has to be one of the stupidest of all. As someone who has in her life seen six family members die as a result of smoking, I have great respect for anyone who has the guts and the strength of mind to kick this stupid habit. I just feel so sad when I see young people in the street lighting up. I think "You stupid fools! Do you realise what damage you are doing to the rest of your life?" You may have spent that money on other things, marmite, but you have claimed back several years of life by kicking the habit, and that is worth more than gold.
Anyway, get of the soapbox, Nargle, a cup of tea awaits your attention....One life - your life - live it!0 -
Finally, for this month...

Hi all
Bit of a late starter but I wondered if I could join in with you this month or if it's too late? I need to start behaving myself as I seem to have fallen into a trap of dropping into the supermarket 3-4 times per week as well as making little random spends here and there. I'd like to try for 12 NSD's this month. I have managed 3 so far which is positive stuff, but I need a bit of encouragement! I'll join in next month if not....marmiterulesok wrote: »Come July,it'll be 13 years since I stopped smoking and,by the way,the best decision I have ever made.It still makes me feel chuffed.I wonder how much I've saved.....and probably spent on other things?:o
Marmite, this is amazing stuff. :T:T:TWell done you. Thought you might like to see the non-monetary benefits of quitting so long ago as well..

liltdiddylilt of course you can join our merry band this month, it's never too late (well perhaps 11.59pm on the last day of the month might be cutting it a bit fine :rotfl:)
Pull up a pew and I'm sure Freeby will be along soon to add you to the first page. In the meantime feel free to get stuck in to the [STRIKE]very serious debating that goes on here[/STRIKE] inane banter
Well, back on the wagon for me today, and NSD #4 bagged. Had a busy day started with being woken by the window cleaner at 8.30am  I'd arranged for him to clean out ours and neighbours gutters and do the windows - then found out in the afternoon that she'd wanted the gutters/facias actually cleaned as well. For some reason I feel a bit guilty that she's now got to ring him and arrange that, and it will cost more money - not sure why, just mis-communication but I hope it doesn't end up costing us more than if it had all been done at once.
Cream crackered and feel ready for bed now, even jilted pole tonight which is relatively unheard of for me.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Thursday was NSD 3. Friday is a planned spend day due to another vet visit with my OAP rats but they're doing much better since the last visit so I'm happy. They're much more mobile, I was starting to think I'd have to get tiny little rat wheelchairs!0

Good Morning
It is the long awaited Friday :j Hope everyone has something lovely lined up for the weekend.
No NSD for me again yesterday  I was actually driving home from work thinking I had such a good day. I hadn't spent anything, I was looking forward to going for a run with my BFF and I had eaten healthily all day..................cue everything going wrong and I ended up having to take the dog to the vet, missing my run and getting a takeaway for tea:o:o:o
