Baby Jogger City Mini GT

Hello! I am in the process of buying a pushchair ready for baby's arrival, and my main criteria is that it isn't too expensive (under £400), and is very light and manouverable as I will struggle with lifting anything to heavy (am just very weak). I've found some good reviews of the Babby Jogger City Mini GT, but just wondered if anyone on here has used on/knows anything about them, or has any other recommendations?

The only thing I'd say is, how long do you want baby to be facing you for? My LO was out of his infant car seat pretty early, same with carry cot, so if that was say 5 months or so, would you be completely happy with baby facing out the way? With that budget I'd got for M&P Sola or M&P Urbo.

Baby Jogger are brilliant prams though :D

Agree with Gilly. I have the Baby Jogger City Mini and it's absolutely fab, especially love the one-handed fold. However, I didn't put my daughter in that till she was 2.

Previous to that I had only recently started having her forward-facing in her pram.

Other Urbo and Sola are both nice prams. I must say I prefer the Skate though. You can get some fantastic offers on those if you can get to an outlet store.

Get the carrycot with it for the first few months. I got mine second hand on eBay and sold it after 3 months for the same price. I abs love my baby jogger, baby kavics is 6 months old and seems very comfortable.
  • Thanks for your replies! I might have a little look on ebay to see if there are any carry cots for sale to see what I'll need to budget for one.
