Is it possible to pay a Credit Card with another credit card?

Just out of curiosity can I pay a CC with another CC?
Don't get me wrong I pay off in full (unless I have 0% where min payments +2 quid extra to avoid min payment on CRA ,of course)
It's just because I want to maintain a decent spend on my original card with a higher limit . The card I use now has 0% for 3 months ...
Edit: I do NOT mean a balance transfer
I mean with Capital One I can pay with a debit card but not a CC, do others allow a CC

It's called a balance transfer and it normally attracts a 3%+ balance transfer fee.0

Wouldn't that be a balance transfer? You'll usually be charged for one of those on a percentage basis."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

With HSBC, I once paid my credit card with my dads credit card (as I had no money in my bank account at the time) so I presume it is possible.0

Creation (Sygma Bank) credit cards allow payment from Visa credit and Mastercard credit cards.0

Sorry but I didn't mean Balance transfer
No way am I paying 3% or (even more depending on the card!)
I meant making a payment of a CC bill with another credit card
Apparently HSBC and Creation card allow this...0 -
Ok but on the card that you are using to pay with - wouldn't that be treated as a cash advance? It wouldn't be treated as a purchase, right?0

On a couple of occasions, I used my Capital One credit card to make a payment to my creation credit card (not really advisable paying a credit card with a credit card though). The payment registered on my Cap One statement as mail\phone order and counted towards my purchases, no cash advance was triggered when I made this payment.
This was Cap One so not sure how other credit card companies handle this. I pretty sure I made a payment via my Vanquis as well (to my Creation card) and no cash advance was triggered.0
