To switch line rental and broadband from VM to Sky requires you to install a BT-based line for ADSL broadband. Your existing VM cable line can only be used on VM, not for any other provider. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Sky can install the line for you (or reconnect an existing line), but it's not 'included'. It's a separate one-off charge. Anything from about £50 to £130 if you pay the full BT rate.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
