Fiancee's Hen Party

Careful! Your Fianc!e only knows at this point what she's been told.
By that I mean the bridesmaids could well have organised lots of other stuff that they've neglected to tell her about in case they ruin the surprise!
Neither you nor your wife to be actually know what those things may be.
In my experience, no one ever tells the Hen everything!0 -
I'm another one who thinks what is already planned sounds fine. However, if you do want to do something I think champagne behind the bar somewhere is a nice option. I'd be wary of flowers if they're going to be going on to busy bars and/or a club, I think at best they'd end up battered and bruised, at worst lost.0

I love the idea of a mixologist, that would have made my night. I also think a limo, a tarot reader or a butler in the buff would be fun. Are they pampering themselves, as maybe paying a beautician to go would be good. It's the kind of extravagance or cheekiness, even if it's not your usual thing, that makes it your hen night instead of any other night out with your friends. You hope to have just one hen night and it's a bit sad if it feel like any other night you've mostly organised yourself with half the attendees moaning. I'm not saying this is the situation for the OP's partner, also she might not even actually be underwhelmed as it could be the OP reading things that aren't there, we just don't know.
If you have the funds but don't want to get too involved, maybe speak to the organiser and let them spend the money on a special extra for the event.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
I guess chasing attendees might be due to thecfinancial demands of the day as it stands?
People with young children not always having much spare cash.0
