Suggest email company instead. What do you expect from isp?

    Try fastmail.fm or www.eumx.net

We have never had any trouble with Tiscali or Talktalk .

No I don't work for them.

I've been having problems with mine for a few days now.
I was contemplating upgrading to get the youview box thingy, but I think I'll hold off now and might look else where to increase my tv capailities, and/or ISP

My father was having problems for the last few days with TT. I could connect using a browser, but his Windows Live app simply refused to connect. I replaced it with Thunderbird using IMAP and it is working fine now.

Different browser didn't make it any better. Talktalk webmail also had no effect. BUT fingers crossed, it seems to be okay today-from about 5:30 p.m. Thanks guys (mse not talktalk V).

Have had no issue with pop/smtp servers via outlook. Out of interest why do some users prefer web mail?
Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc

the main reason I can see is that it's easy to check on it wherever you are, just open a browser, log in and there's your e-mail. But, then, if you're that desperate you need to check personal e-mail when in work, on holiday, etc., maybe you need to reassess your lifestyle and priorities ;)

However, I don't use webmail, I use Outlook/O.Express/Thunderbird, so I'm keeping a copy of MY mail on MY pc, so even if the mail provider's servers crash, I've still got a copy safe on my pc :)

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D
