talktalk mail?

Is talktalks email having problems or is it just me?

The webmail is ok for me today, however over the last couple of weeks it's been a bit hit and miss -getting a blank page on signing in unless you use compatability view, or try a different browser. Compatability view worked for me in IE.

Mine is down.

It's noted as a service fault on the TT website.

Been very unreliable over past few weeks....

Mines been down since I tried it at 9am its still down at 4pm.
Went on TT Forum page and it says there are technical problems that may last till late afternoon to early evening.

It is getting quite regular TT mail been down. Was the same a few weeks ago for quite a long time on and off.

I have started looking around for another email but they all seem to be big and complicated. I only need a basic one. That's why I have stuck with TT for so long.

Are you just using Webmail ? Cos mines fine using Thunderbird....
Oh and gmx.com is excellent .... as is google and yahoo but get a client for them all use Thunderbird (end of spam) or Live Mail from MikeysoftMouse or Evolution (if you use Linux) , you can still use them via Webmail too

Final warning for Talktalk - for a technology company they are pathetic - an embarrassment to themselves.

probably part of the ongoing rationalisation of all the e-mail servers they inherited when they took over all the smaller companies....technically a big job...

Maybe for you GJ :cool:, but for those in the know it would be DNS changes at the least , and a few tweaks of the Mail server at most, I would finish that in the morning and spend the afternoon in the Pub :beer:

TalkTalk are no worse than any other large ISP , none of them segregate their Helpdesk functions
TT have been fine for me , but I can ask the right questions before they follow their scripts.:D

Edit: Oh and their billing department is worse than me (i.e. - Useless)
