I have four users on my Win 8 PC and nothing's slowed down. The only thing I am mindful of is the desire of MS to ensure people log in with their Outlook email account so they collect, collect & collect.0

There is no need to use or create an Outlook account to log in to Win8. The option to create a local account is still there. I'm using one right now.0
