May well take a change of leadership for this to happen. The Brownites are too entrenched in their views of the economy and purpose of the state.

I actually think the Brownites are simply nowhere near talented enough to have any real idea of how to improve anything. All they know and understand is increasing spending. As far as I can see the only difference between Nulabour & old Labour is that old Labour used to directly tax & spend. Nulabor borrow and spend, which is of course, just a more sneaky way of taxing & spending. And unfortunately more than sneaky enough to fool your average Daily Mirror reader.

Will it make house prices go up?

That's all that matters, never mind all the other stuff.

That is absolutely not true. Except in something like a road crash, rich people have a choice about how to get medical care.

    We're all rich.

What can we do about providing a level playing field for all?

    What would you suggest?

there is a large minority who hanker back to a time when all the neighbours were the same as them and they all thought the same way, ate the same food and spoke the same language.

This is true of all people, hence why you have China Towns, Jewish Quarters, Polish clubs, areas like Bradford with a high concentration of people from Asia.

Whether you like it not, people like people who are like themselves. It's not racist to want to chat to people in your own language or dialect, with your own cultural references, to worship together, to have a community. It's just human nature and it started from year zero when humans first started banding together into separate tribal units.

If you are homeless, it is very difficult to get a job. And if you are jobless, it is very difficult to get a home.

Interestingly, tourists are directed towards the ethnic quarters of most big cities!

How would you level the playing field for homeless people, or jobless people?
