LTSB Vantage

Has anyone successfully opened more than 3 Vantage accounts (since their stipulation of 3 per person)?

I believe Lloyds are very strict now on the max 3. But you could always try whether you can get another one? Worst case they turn you down.

If I was going to chance my luck with a 4th, I'd open a standard Classic account and then, at a later date (perhaps after a little activity), ask to add Vantage to it.

That's how I managed to get a 4th Halifax Reward accounts.

OP, presumably you've already got 3 x BoS Vantage accounts? If not, that may be a better route to follow.

Nope but I am aware of it. Currently, I do not have enough money to be put into this ACs to take full advantage of it :-((.
But definitely will take my chance in the future as I am aware that this is for a long term (not just one year like many other high interest current ACs )

Currently focusing on pushing it to the limit of NW flex direct ACs and LTSB Vantage as it pay more interest and easier to manage as I already have several ACs with them.

This was in late 2009. My point was just to illustrate. Doubt it would be possible now.

Yeah, thanks. I've had the 3 Reward accounts (I'm guessing you meant Reward accounts when you said BoS Vantage) for some years' now. I used to have 7 LTSB Vantage accounts, but regrettably, closed all but one of them when the top tier dropped off as you could get 3% on savings accounts then without having to move the £1,000 around each month. I've just opened 2, making my total Vantage 3 now. Opened 4 N'wide and a Santander. I flippin' well knew I shouldn't have closed the Vantage, but after several months' of them being empty, thought I'd do some "tidying" up. Hey ho.

    No.
YB did mean BoS Classic with Vantage.
BoS used to offer the same accounts as Halifax. They now offer the same accounts as Lloyds ie you can add Vantage to their Classic account to get 3% on £3-5K.
You can hold 3 llyods Classic with Vantage and 3 BoS Classic with Vantage.

OMG, where the hell have I been?! I visit MSE at least once a day, don't know how I missed this then. I'll try for one of those instead of trying for a 4th LTSB Vantage. Thanks to both you and YorkshireBoy for pointing this out to me.

Tried to open one of the BoS Vantage today, got as far as name and address and the page said "processing", but never got any further. After 10 minutes wait, I closed and started again, same happened. Tried ringing was on hold for 25 minutes while someone was trying to put me through to the "appropriate" department. Gave up. Just tried ringing again and was told they close at 5pm. Hope the two failed attempts don't get as far as making a "mark" on my credit check. Haven't a clue why it wouldn't go any further than name and address. As I already have several accounts with Halifax and LTSB, I'm surprised they had difficulty with processing my address.
