Does anyone know of a yearly mobile topup i.e £10 as my other half just wants a phone for emergencies so that i can contact him

As an example Virgin states that you must make a call or text within a 180 day period or your service will be turned off. All the other providers have similar cut off periods but you need to check. Providing your in credit and comply with the terms and conditions you don't need to spend anything as some of the Sim's come with credit installed. As for top ups i think just about all are now a min £10 but i could be wrong!.

and they dont normally enforce the 180 day rule,but to be on the safe side one short call or text every 6 month,s will keep it active.
