I'm a bit worried as I'm not in debt and actually have savings, but do lots of these things... beat myself up if I waste as little as 2p, spend half an hour going from Boots to Superdrug to Bodycare to Wilko to find the best deals, stand there working out if the BOGOF is better value than the bigger size pack. It's what my mum used to do!

I haven't got into the cashback sites and loophole stuff yet, but when I do I'll be addicted!!!

Learning about wombling, seriously makes you want to drive all the way to Tesco to see if you can find any........

But then realise its not in the petrol budget

Decide to treat yourself to a day out girlie shopping....but all you can bring yourself to buy is a 59p bar of Thorntons choccie as all those beautifull things you find.......may be on ebay for a quater of the price.

Park outside of town where there is free parking and walk all the way in..
If i run out of milk, not go to the corner shop as it costs more but wait till after 5pm to pop to Sainsburies when parking is free and hope no one pops round for a cuppa in the mean time:p

Have my own little budget book, written up weeks in advance, when pay day comes around the first thing i do is log on to the banking site and pay my credit card and get huge satisfaction at crossing it off my list pmsl...

Spend 10 minutes finding Tesco email addy to complain they didn't deduct 25p for my washing up liquid AGAIN.

When my dd sees me having a mass tidy up and responds with 'are you selling our stuff on ebay again mummy?'

Refuse to shop unless i have a discount code first

When you ask your partner what he thinks is the most romantic thing he does and he replies... I give you all of my £2 coins, and you go all warm and fuzzy, because that is the ultimate romance.

When you're in a studio recording and it's taking forever, you look at the clock and see it's 11.30pm and you break out in a cold sweat panicing because you haven't done your piggy comps yet.

A few people have mentioned 'piggy comps' or similar......what are these please??

When going through old bank statements to check for charges to claim, you are so shocked with the amounts and what you used to spend your money on, you have to have a LARGE glass of wine to calm you down!!!

    .....your morning goes like this.......

You drive into town with the petrol gauge hovering perilously over the top of the red. You have 80p in your purse (4 x20p) but know that is fine because the parking is 60p for 1 hour.

You swear at the parking machine because it has gone up to 70p and you can't get your 10p change because they don't give change.

You deposit a greaspalm cheque and take up the bank's offer to give send you a quote on house insurance 'because they can beat anybody' according to the girl behind the counter and you think 'yeah, try it'.

You post two ebay parcels at the post office and then grab a basket in Sainsbury's and look round for any yellow sticker bargains feeling very posh because you are now a dedicated Asda girl and haven't stepped inside a Sainsbury's for months.

But........most of all..........when you drive into the car park past a big building plot you see the big bill board that says 'Aldi Supermarket opening here Christmas 2007' you hear yourself say out loud 'oooooooh, we're getting an Aldi......'

............and feel genuinely excited because you know where you are getting your bargain Christmas food shop from!!!!!

    ahem.......:o

    Brilliant!

You're my kinda gal! (But how did you pay for the postage on the Ebay parcels, and what the hell is a greaspalm cheque?)
