Whats this TSB thing? I just updated my address and everything to a branch that is due to change to TSB (I didn't know that at the time), does this mean that that I will no longer be a Lloyds TSB customer when the switch comes?

    Yes and no.

Lloyds TSB will no longer exist as such.
There will be Lloyds Bank and TSB Bank - 2 separate banks

Anyone know how this will effect shareholders? TSB customers got shares in LLoyds TSB as part of the merger in the 90s. How does it effect those staying with Lloyds and those being moved to TSB? Will they all hold shares in what will become just Lloyds???

Your shares are in Lloyds Banking Group.

Nothing will change there - they are just selling off part of their business. They announced the sale of a different part of their business this morning, this is just another one to add to the list and doesn't impact the company your shares are held in.
