    Dropbox or Google drive.
  • Mine are stored as .jpg across Picasa and Flickr (mainly so i can access them on my iPhone and iPad as well as my laptop). I store RAW files in an external hard drive and on dropbox and sky drive.

I'm sure you're probably aware, but if you're storing photos in the public domain at all recent changes (which I think are now law or imminently so) make it easier for someone to steal them and not credit you with the copyright so I would suggest watermarking them.
I don't like chick flicks, I get grazed knuckles doing my own car repairs and I ride a massive cruiser motorbike. To many this makes me a bloke in disguise but to my husband this makes me perfect

What is the total file size you need to store? The 'free' options only give you limited amounts of storage.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

  • The problem with "free" storage is that it is slow to upload and it is often not very secure.

Buy an external HDD (or 2) to back everything up .

That's all very good until your house gets burnt down.

Both methods are recommended or have a 2nd hard drive stored "off site"
