Well I'm back via butchers, HBs, Mr As and the PO so now I need to put the shopping away and then see if I can do anything with this LR before I get invaded later. Having said that I've got to pick DD's friend up at 1 but then my nephews aren't coming until 6ish.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Looks like everyone's having a productive start to the day. DS2 deposited at beautiful venue for writing thingy - I wanted to stay, too - and two carrier bags dropped off at CS on way home. :j
Did a HHC straight away from 11am which ran over a bit, but most of the house has been hoovered, LR straightened, DW emptied and filled with this morning's dishes, a few hand-washed things from last night put away, all bins but one emptied (bin day today), TD started with bedding. I'm going to have 10 minutes or so on various admin-type things, then the plan is to split my time between the kitchen and our bedroom with some lunch in between. I have until 3pm before I need to collect DS2. Sent the big lad a text with his appointment time, but have so far not heard anything.0 -

I have big news! HUGE ..... Drum roll please
I HAVE DONE THE LONG CORRIDOR :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Woke up this morning and said to OH that it needed doing and his reply was "Oh, I was just thinking, when I get up I'm gonna clear out the corridor before I go to work". Woop Woop! Gave him a coal sack and he cleared and dustpan and brushed. Off he went to work, so I've hoovered, decobwebbed the ceiling and walls, bleached all the walls, wiped them down, washed the door inside and out at the end and done the skirtings.
O-M-G - it's pristine!!!!!
It was unused before and just a dumping ground. When we moved in here 2 years ago it was THICK in spiders and webs left by the previous tenant.
OH found 2 bales of heavy duty washing line type stuff and has measured it up for 2 lines to go in. Just need to find 4 hooks and it is good to go. I am beyond happy.
Continued afterwards with hoovering and mopping the kitchen and lounge floors.
Today, ladies, I am INVINCIBLE :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Note to self - next time, do not attempt to do all that wearing a fluffy onesie - I am like a heaving, sweaty pig now.
Quick shower before friend arrives and we are off to walk the dog and children at Rannerdale Knotts. All the bluebells are out and it is stunning.

I barely had half an hour in the kitchen before the nice heating man arrived, but it's looking a bit better than it did. Waiting now for him to see whether he can fix it today or needs parts. Dead time for a bit, but I'm so grateful he was able to come straight away (already had a job in the area this afternoon).
You've done so well, TMD, and the photos in the link look amazing. Very beautiful place.
I think I'll go looking for some sugar and I'm sure fury can be arranged, too, as it seems to be working for you pigpen.0 -
