Morning all. To all the 5:2 fasters, wishing you best of luck. I started it 6 weeks ago to drop those last 9 lb of baby weight (9 months on, 9 months off!) and I have to say its the easiest thing in the world!!! I've lost 9% of my body weight and today I am back in my super skinny jeans. I have luckily never had a weight issue but I'm sure you will all see amazing (and really easy) results. :j
Silvercar - I voted.
Off to catch up.

Good morning!
Beautiful sunny day in here, hope it stays like this.
Hugs to Logie, my thoughts are with you
To all that are trying 5:2 diet don't forget that when you feel hungry is your mind that plays up with you, our bodies can survive with water only for weeks. I would have joined in too, for the healthy side of the diet but just discovered I've lost 6kg in 2 weeks because of my depression and I'm still losing and it's not something I can control at the moment.
I'm sure we will hear great stories soon about the fat club. Good luck to all!
cauciuca sorry to hear of your depression, I can empathise with you on the out of control weight loss. I had the same in my early twenties, though you would not think it now. It was after a traumatic time in my life that I just was not equipped to cope with but time was a great healer and friends too. And you have lots of friends here hun. :A0 -

Morning all
Todays aim is to drink more water! I can do it ok at work as it gets really hot, but I'm not so good at it when I'm at home.
Other than that, it's a quiet day today, not really in the mood for doing anything. Sat waiting on a call from work at the moment, hoping it'll be sooner rather than later, I'm not very good at waiting! So I'm blasting some choons on Youtube again, I'll not fire up the jukebox yet though, it's a bit early :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Must admit to you all, I have been sort of sort of doing this, since I saw that programme on tele 'Horizon;Eat,Fast and Live longer' by Michael Mosley...Got some of me relatives on it too, and they and I have found, it's a great way to maintain weight as well as lose. and by that I mean lose every single week!! I highlighted that so those of you who may be dithering on joining this Elite 'fat club' the lurvly QOP or Mimi? has started...dither no more, join up, you will lose minimum 2lbs a week, or even 4lbs when you start off doing this only 2 days per week. Lets do it:)
FF feeling like a boot camp colonel:o
I have now been working on 5;2 recipes for about 8months, so can help plan 'fast days' for us all:)

I've been lurking -- sorry. But managed to get to ASDA yesterday, there isn't one near me, and to my delight finally worked out which bread it is (it doesn't say really seeded on the packaging) and which potatoes. (There's a pack which says butter and herbs which I almost got by accident -- and neither say they are baby potatoes.) The S&G is also still working -- you probably all know that. Can't believe how expensive one large potato was! Thank you, everyone, for posting. I got a voucher for £4.59.
I presume the chocolate is no longer working? Or have you just stopped buying because of the diet?! Are the Bombay potatoes still working (I have never managed to find those!) Anything else?
(Not interested in coke or popcorn.)
I hope my shop helps someone.
