A fellow poster has a very sick child who spends most of each day hooked up to a machine.
He is trying to get enough votes to win some funding. If you have a minute to read about it and hopefully vote, the link is here:

No, just the heating and hot water. Although we do have separate hot water (electric).
Gas isn't used much here (except for the hob), as it's too expensive. It also gets piped over from Russia via Ukraine so when they have shortages it would be too precarious in the winter (regularly gets down to -25 here in the SE)
Luckily OH's mate has a tractor and trailer, so there's a few of them that work together collecting the 12' logs from the forest then chopping them up on a table saw/chainsaw.
My role is purely supervisory:D

Morning everyone
Think there is a great S opportunity for cheap laundry stuff.
A has a new offer of various items - Ariel, Bold, Comfort, Plenty, Fairy - 3 for £9. Most of these products have mocs, particularly SSM ones to use at S
http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/specialoffers/linksavecontainer.jsp?promoId=ls78857
For example, includes Ariel 20 tabs and Bold Gel 16 washes - eg 2 x Ariel and 1 x Bold at S costs I think £19.17, so you hit the £10 BM straight away (buy a pint of milk or whatever for your £20), but £3 of mocs off the original price, so just over £6 for the lot. Think it is approx 11p per wash, so not quite the magic 10p, but a good price for tabs.
I think there will be lots of other combinations that will give good results depending on what you need/what mocs you have.0 -
Morning all - had a little catch up but wanted to say thank you to Funky for the Fat club prep info. Printed off and stuck in D-day file.
Silvercar - voted :A
TM - thanks for the water tip. Will start consuming more today
Logie - glad you can see a bit more light now :T:A:T0 -

Well done for going all night without crap! It is possible and we are all here to support you (and the rest of us) along the way
I weighed this morning. I am gutted. I am the heaviest I have ever beenI cant carry on like this, so I am well back on the wagon again.
I stopped in co-op on my way to work and bought my normal bananas, and also some grapes and an apple.
The bananas and apple only went through the self scan at 1p each :j:j
Dont be thinking its a glitch, its not and its not so much store specific as SS tilll specific! But getting me started in MSE style has made me more motivated
Thank you FF for posting that list, I have printed it off, along with Logie's recipe
Its so nice to have spotted so many altered signatures this morning
Morning all,
I have done the same and weighed myself this morning.
I need to add 4 lbs before I have even started, where did those come from. Heaviest I have ever been in my life.
Stopped myself from eating any midnight snacks last night, I had nothing to eat after my main meal. I figure if I cut down a bit now I will find the first fast day a bit easier. OH said he found mondays hard as he usually eats/drinks a lots at weekends.0 -
Good morning!
Beautiful sunny day in here, hope it stays like this.
Hugs to Logie, my thoughts are with you
To all that are trying 5:2 diet don't forget that when you feel hungry is your mind that plays up with you, our bodies can survive with water only for weeks. I would have joined in too, for the healthy side of the diet but just discovered I've lost 6kg in 2 weeks because of my depression and I'm still losing and it's not something I can control at the moment.
I'm sure we will hear great stories soon about the fat club. Good luck to all!0
