Hospital appt did not go at all as expected. I had been told I was going there to discuss pros/cons of radiotherapy now that cancer was not active but the lump was still there.

They disagreed entirely with what I was told on the phone about my scan results. Apparently there was still 'uptake' in the area of the tumour and so we cannot say it is inactive They also disagreed that there was any debate as to whether I have radiotherapy. So got planning scan tomorrow and will likely start in a couple of weeks. Will be a logistical nightmare as every day for 3 weeks and only done in Cambridge. Will have to figure it out though....

Sorry to hear this, though maybe the radiotherapy would have been a good idea under the other scenario.

I hope you manage to sort out childcare that will make you feel relaxed about going to Cambridge. Is there a HomeStart in your area?

Another option may be a 16 year old who has finished exams who could come to your house each day?

Kindle fire down from £229 to £171 with coupons - cust services took 2x£20 electrical coupons and 3 £5 off £40 and a £3 off £40 that I got in post. All coupons bar the last one were wombled!!!
