Good luck hun, got my fingers crossed for you xShortfatscotsbloke wrote: »Hi celebrate, it's nice to see that you are still with us. Don't worry about old age, I'm sure I've seen it somewhere recently that 50 is the new 30!:D
Anyway, today is my birthday and I have reached the grand old age of 45. Nowhere near as old as dotty, Artha and Nanny L, however probably a very similar age to most of the Elite.
Having read about 20,000 posts over the last few weeks, my impression is that most of us are in the age group 40 - 60.
Happy belated birthday SFSB, hope you had a fab day x
It's my beautiful little boy's 3rd birthday today. I have a happy warm gooey feeling inside and can't believe that he's 3 already. I'm feeling a sense of pride though that I've not managed to lose or break him yet:rotfl:
Can't wait till his little party on Saturday, :jLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

Hope everyone is OK today. Just back from a 2 hour stint at the gym with lots of interval running. Hopefully I will be back to my slim self. This "generous" look is not really me! Any tips other than not eating would be gratefully received.
Also, any computer whizzes around? I need a new laptop but I don't understand a thing about them. The one I currently have was an impulse purchase and is about to die a death. It's a Sony Vaio and it cost me about £500. I just thought it looked good and I bought it!
I have about £500 face value Tesco clubcard points though I don't think they are doing computers with the double up vouchers are they? I also have about £400 worth of Consumer Pulse vouchers which can be redeemed at Curry's, House Of Fraser/Debenhams/John Lewis (do they do laptops?) and various other places.
I'm looking for something cheap (happy to pay more) but something that will last me a while. Any help? Feel free to pm me. Cheers in advance.
Not saying its the best but having just started looking I would pay £260 for it
